Thank You For The Music is the brainchild of Mike Taylor, Director of Thank You For The Music Ltd. Mike is no stranger to touring shows - he has brought many of the international stars of the 1960's to 1980's to the UK, including Barry White, Little Richard, Donna Summer, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, The Temptations, Edwin Starr, George McCrae, Ben E King and Tony Bennett. Mike went on to develop The Complete Talent Agency Ltd supplying entertainment to major venues including Butlins Holiday Worlds and other great venues across the UK. He invented some of the best known tours of the 80's and 90's such as Giants of Motown, Festival of the Sixties, Giants of the 70's, A Tribute to the Carpenters and many more.

His experience of winning touring shows was drawn upon when the Thank You For The Music show was created. He hit upon the idea of bringing a brand new tribute show to audiences and as we were at the beginning of a 70's revival Mike decided to use ABBA and The Bee Gee's, two of the greatest bands of the 1970's.

With ABBA guaranteed to create a party atmosphere in which everyone could get up dance to, combining this with The Bee Gee's, Mike put a complete show together which would appeal to theatre audiences. He began to promote the show in theatres across the United Kingdom and it took off, with many venues gaining capacity audiences. He then took the show to far-flung places such as Holland and Kenya. The spirit of ABBA and The Bee Gee's certainly lives on all over the world.

Since those early days, there have been quite a few changes to the show. A new cast was introduced in 2001, and for this year, Mike has added a new Show to the line-up to make this one the complete Thank You For The Music experience. The rest of the show's line-up changes every year but ABBA and The Bee Gee's remain, keeping the show on a 70's theme whilst making every year a new Thank You For the Music experience. Mike believes in giving value for money entertainment and this show certainly gives you that!

Thank You For The Music touring concert show, continues to be a big hit and major success in the UK. 2006 saw the show embark on a European tour. Thank You For The Music, clocked up over 100 dates in 2007.
